外国人の日本への観光客が、今年は2,800万人を超える見込み。
また、そうした人たちの約12％の人たちが民泊を利用し、民泊利用者の60％以上は20歳以下の若者という。
いずれも、政府・観光庁の発表。
 訪問客のの増加は、この10月現在で、昨年同時期より21.5％増の約2,400万人。
LCCと呼ばれる航空機利用による訪問者の増加が大きいが、ホテルや旅館より「民泊」も人気。
お隣の中国、韓国の旅行者が依然多くを占めてはいる。
こうした旅行者の特長と思われるのは、個人的な情報や口コミによって宿泊所を決定しているのがうかがえるらしい。
また、政府も、日本国内のが農家や田舎に、そうした観光客が泊まるのも、後押しする予定。
・・・・・国同士の関係が、必ずしも「絶好」とは言えない下での、個人と個人や、「イナカ」の人たちとの交流も歓迎される。

Visitors to mark record 28 mil.
　The total number of visitors to Japan in 2017 is expected to top 28 million, marking a record high for the fifth consecutive year, Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner Akihiko Tamura said Wednesday.

 According to the agency, the estimated number of visitors to the country rose by 21.5 percent from a year earlier to 2,595,200 in October and by 18.3 percent to 23,791,500 in January-October.

12% used private lodgings
 A　 survey by the Japan Tourism Agency showed Wednesday that 12.4 percent of visitors to Japan used “minpaku” private lodging services.
　According to the survey, 75.1 percent of respondents stayed at hotels and 18.2 percent used “ryokan” Japanese-style inns.

 The proportion of tourists who used minpaku services was the third largest.

 The survey also found that more than 60 percent of minpaku users were in their 20s and younger.
